If you’re looking for piano lessons in the Kensington or South Kensington areas of London, we’re glad you found the London Piano Centre – we are conveniently located at the Bluthner piano facility, and if you’d rather take lessons at home, we can discuss an online learning arranged via Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime.
Our Faculty: Piano Teachers in Kensington
The London Piano Centre differentiates itself by offering a faculty of internationally renowned pianists. Founder Gabriele Baldocci, an acclaimed concert pianist and faculty member at Trinity Laban, believes that piano is best learned from practising musicians; as a result, every teacher at our piano school is a professional pianist. Our faculty includes Mikhail Kazakevich, Sergio De Simone, and David Malusà.
If you would like to sign up for a trial lesson with one of our professors, please reach us at your earliest convenience. And if your professor is unable to attend a lesson because of his performance schedule, you will either be offered a reschedule, or another faculty member will teach your lesson.
How To Access Our Kensington Piano Studio
If you are walking from Kensington to our location at 6 Baker Street in Marylebone, you can cut right through Hyde Park and find our studio near Portman Square. If you are traveling via public transit, it’s about a 25 minute bus ride from Harley Street (Stop L) to High Street Kensington (Stop F). If you are traveling by vehicle, we are a short 15 minute drive away. Please don’t hesitate to email us for more information about traveling arrangements and parking; we would be happy to help you.

Our Piano Lesson Rates
We follow a pay-as-you-learn tuition model at London Piano Centre, and students choose from online and in-person lessons. Lesson durations and additional features vary; please note that the lowest rate is for 30 minutes lesson slots. What To Expect in Lessons at the London Piano Centre
Our teachers have studied and performed with the leading pianists of our day, and as a result, your lessons will be dynamic, inspiring, and full of information. We want to create musicians, not simply pianists, and we can guarantee that you will have a deeper appreciation for your repertoire, instrument, and music as a whole at the end of each session.
Are you working on Baroque or early music? We’ve performed it, and we can help you prepare for a historically informed presentation or recital. Do you have an affinity for Mozart, early Beethoven, or other music from the classical era? We would love to work with you on that as well. As touring pianists often do, we’ve performed extensively in the Romantic era; Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev and more are not strangers to our faculty. Whether you’re hoping to progress in traditional or contemporary literature, we would love to work with you. We can also help you learn jazz or other popular genres, and we always root our teaching in music theory.
We also place importance on technique and tension-free playing; we want you to stay healthy and relaxed at the piano, and that focus will help you play with increasing speed and dexterity.
